My key is broken. Can you fix it?

If you have broken a key, please bring it in before assuming that you need a new key cut. Often we can fix broken keys, especially car keys. It all depends on what the damage is and whether it is cost effective to repair the key or replace it.

Yes we can. If it’s a car key, please drive your vehicle to us. If it’s a lock on a property then call us and if you are in the local area we will come and fix the lock for you, without damaging the key or lock wherever possible.

We understand how stressful a situation you are in if you need to call an emegency locksmith, so we will attend as soon as possible, usually within an hour.

We offer a 24/7 emergency locksmith service, 365 days a year.

We cover anywhere with an LS postcode, i.e. Leeds and the surrounding areas. In some circumstances, we can offer our services further afield, so please call us for advise.

We always try not to damage a door, lock or key. However, in extreme circumstances where we have no choice but to damage the lock or key, we will advise you of any costs in advance.

This varies, depending upon the type of lock, however a general rule would be 20-30 minutes. We will always give you a quotation and time estimate before undertaking any work.

It depends on your insurance company. Most policies require external doors to have locks to British Standard BS3621 which is a five lever mortice deadlock or sashlock, multi-point locking system or a rim automatic deadlock.
